About All Year Recovery
Our story is rooted in resilience, lived experience, and a deep belief that transformation is possible every single day. The challenges we’ve overcome, the lessons we’ve learned, and the milestones we’ve reached have shaped us into who we are today. Now, our purpose is to turn experience into impact—offering guidance, accountability, and support to those navigating their own path.
At All Year Recovery, we strive to be a source of strength, clarity, and hope. Through authentic connection and meaningful mentorship, we help individuals find purpose, build confidence, and reclaim direction in their lives.
At All Year Recovery, we believe recovery is possible, stability is achievable, and purpose is within reach. Every service, program, and interaction is built on compassion, accountability, and real-world understanding. We invite you to walk this journey with us. Whether you’re seeking support, partnership, or encouragement, our team is here with authenticity, respect, and care.
Recovery is not a straight line—and you don’t have to walk it alone. Our guidance is rooted in consistency, patience, and growth, even when progress feels slow.

Founder’s Message
I’m Durrell, the founder of All Year Recovery. My life’s work is rooted in lived experience, service, and purpose. I’ve walked the road from survival to stability, and now my mission is to help others do the same, one honest step at a time.
As a nationally certified Peer Support Specialist and Qualified Behavioral Health Assistant (QBHA), I bring a straightforward, real-world approach to every individual and community I support. Whether I’m working with justice-impacted youth, adults rebuilding their lives, or organizations seeking stronger recovery programming, my focus is the same: resilience, accountability, and long-term transformation.
“I be chilling.” For me, chilling means living right, staying consistent, and trusting the process - even when progress feels slow. It’s about gratitude, discipline, and honoring every moment of the journey.
My Philosophy: “I be chilling.”
Where I Come From
I grew up in systems that weren’t built for me — the streets, juvenile justice, and eventually the adult system. Those experiences shaped me, but they never decided my future. Instead, they gave me an understanding of what real support looks like and what people truly need to rebuild.
My lived experience fuels my work. It helps me stand with people, not above them. It helps me offer guidance without judgment, direction without pressure, and accountability without shame.
How I Serve Today
Through peer support, mentorship, reentry coaching, and community programming, I help individuals:
-
Break harmful cycles
-
Rebuild identity and self-worth
-
Strengthen relationships
-
Develop emotional and cognitive tools
-
Create sustainable, long-term plans
-
Build a life rooted in purpose
My approach is practical, direct, and centered on results — not perfection.
Why I Do This
I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is when someone finally gets the support, structure, and belief they’ve been missing. That’s why I built All Year Recovery - to make that level of support accessible, real, and rooted in community.
Every story matters. Every step counts. And no one should have to walk their journey alone.
